MWTT RAISES FUNDS TO ASSIST VICTIMS

 

July 13, 2017 - On Tuesday 11 July 2017, at the Metro Hotel Trinidad for the pageant’s Media Appreciation and Personality Evening Competition a cheque was presented to Councillor Anderson Williams of the San Fernando City Council, on acted on behalf of The Mayor of San Fernando Junia Regrello who was unavoidable detained due to Council Meeting.

His Worship, warmly welcomed the delegates at the Courtesy Call they paid to his office and with assisted in granting use of the auditorium for us to stage our 3T’s Tea Party, Talent and Top Model Competition at the beautiful City Hall Auditorium on Friday 23 June 2017. The function was a resounding success amidst the aftermath of Hurricane Bret a few days prior. As part of our promise to always give back to those in need, a lovely champagne hamper wonderfully donated by one of our firm supporters and sponsors Bryden’s was auctioned and raised a grand total of $8600. The company willingly made the difference to donate a total of $9000.
Funds raised was for the Mayor’s Project Fund for the Hurricane Bret Relief.
